چکیده
Shoppers report that 39% of their holiday gift-purchases are for someone “picky.” However, despite the ubiquity shopping picky people, little research has examined how people choose gifts people. Based preference, developed tested novel promotion strategy retailers could implement recoup some lost spending by who all, contributes literature dynamics, provides insights broadly into shoppers negotiate burden whom they anticipate like choice.

PICKY: a novel SVD-based NMR spectra peak picking method
MOTIVATION Picking peaks from experimental NMR spectra is a key unsolved problem for automated NMR protein structure determination. Such a process is a prerequisite for resonance assignment, nuclear overhauser enhancement (NOE) distance restraint assignment, and structure calculation tasks. Manual or semi-automatic peak picking, which is currently the prominent way used in NMR labs, is tedious,...

One example arises in the use of bicycle racks. We propose a novel method for associating each person who deposits an object with the person who later collects it. Our main contribution is to deal with ambiguity in the v...

متن کاملThe gifts reserved for age.
Many disciplines from the biological and social sciences are relevant to the study of human ageing. The unique contribution of epidemiology lies in defining the phenomenon of ageing and identifying the influences that determine its manifestations. With sadness we recognise, wherever we look in the world, that these influences include privilege, prejudice, and politics. Ageing, in the sense of s...
